Make friends with the Gentle Giants of the Jungle

Tour to “Treasure” Elephant Camp and experience an Elephant ride through a Tropical Jungle in Myanmar.

When was the last time you fed an elephant, watched him in the morning sun, taking a bath in the clear waters of the river in a tropical forest, touched one of those gentle giant's tusk, or took a ride on his back like Mogli through the lush green jungle? Well, now is the time for you to visit us at the "Treasure" Elephant Camp in Ngwe Saung.

The camp was founded in 2003 is home to our 5 elephants, as well as their 11 Mahout families. Since day one, our elephant camp attracts wildlife enthusiasts and tourists alike. What sets us apart from other elephant camps and zoos is the philosophy behind our project where we focus on the caring and wellbeing of our animals. We care for our gigantic friends by respecting and providing them with everything they need to live with their clan in their own rhythm of life.

They enjoy our 20-minute trips with visitors as a welcome routine to move about in their natural habitat. They also love to have photo sessions with tourists as they are always rewarded with a few snacks from our visitors.

The "Treasure" Elephant Camp is one of several Eco-Tourism Centres in Ngwe Saung, situated at the 19th milestone of Pathein-Ngwe Saung Road. Critics, who generally oppose keeping wild animals may be reminded, it is humans who are responsible for the eradication of the wild elephants. Humans destroy their habitat for development of our civilization and hunt them down for ivory. Our Gentle Giants live with their clan as natural as possible, in an environment where veterinarians and zoologists support us. Our concept is to alwats keep the animals in the best mood and health, which becomes more and more impossible in their natural environment.

Explore for yourself on your visit. Make friends and unforgettable moments with our happy gentle giants.
